YAY! It's Good again!! This DQ has had a lengthy and checkered past. It was really good about 5 years ago. Then it got really bad, with teenagers running the place. It was filthy and even the ice cream was icky. Then it closed and there was much rejoicing in the land. It re-opened some time in the past year or so, but I have been hesitant to try it after being burned three-too-many times. I was jonesing for a Peanut Buster Parfait yesterday, so I decided to give this DQ another look. There were 5 of us... we each got a different icey creamy treat and each and every one was fantabulous! 4-stars for now... but be warned DQ... I've got my eye on you!

First of all I have to say that I love Dairy Queen Ice Cream. My favorite desert to eat at a Dairy Queen is the Peanut Buster Parfait. Lots of great Hot Fudge, peanuts layered with that signature Dairy Queen ice cream. The best pre-made take out treat is then, of course, the Buster Bar - a dipped in chocolate coating frozen desert-on-a-stick version of the Peanut Buster Parfait. Except at this DQ - they really, really skimp on the hot fudge. I mean there's hardly any hot fudge at all in their version of this desert, that should be standardized (I would think anyway!). Over all the service at this DQ is a little disappointing and the place is untidy and even dirty compared to other fast food restaurants. The counter staff is all very young and ill-trained on customer service. When I've been inside the store or at the drive-through window the staff acts as if they're in detention at high school and they'd all rather be moping around somewhere else. I've only been to this restaurant for ice cream deserts - it's so messy and the staff doesn't act like they know how to wash their hands properly, much less keep their hair out of their face - I don't trust that the food is clean. The next closest DQ to my house is in Sandy on 1300 East. I just bought a 6-pack of Buster Bars and sadly they had even LESS hot fudge. What's with these suburban Utah DQs? Don't they know how to make their food match the national average?

Let's start off by saying I'm a fan of ice cream. I used to live in Utah and for the longest time I would go to this dairy queen. Then the original owners sold it and it went to crap. But I went back to visit family and it's back to the DQ goodness we expect. Don't get me wrong, it could do with some updates to the interior and exterior, but it's clean and delicious.

Late night shake Quake! wow it has been awhile since going here , now THAT is a shake, got the Georgia Mud Fudge Blizzard and it was a very pleasant surprise, did not have to request chunky (unlike at iceberg...) and I had chunks of fudge or nuts it literally EVERY BITE. so thank you for satisfying my shake needs (bout time someone did) !!! I would do a 5 star HOWEVER ..... personality SUCKED BUTT , quality of my shake was amaze - balls, BUTT people need some perspective check, I will leave it at that....

Holy cow people nothing has been upgraded here including original push down sink operations in the bathroom. I wanted something sweet on my to the WJ court house and wow I stepped back to 1960. Staff was really nice and the shake hit the spot and not too big. Big glass windows on all sides so the view of the mountains was amazing but honestly the place needs an over haul.
